> WHO IT’S FOR
Architects, building designers and drafting practices.
A design goes to tender, the numbers come back 40% over, and the redesign is on your time. The budget conversation happens too late to be useful.
> WHAT YOU GET
A Build Feasibility Report — indicative cost, broken down by category.
- Indicative build cost from the drawings alone
- Category-by-category breakdown, so you can see what is driving the number
- Test a spec change before you document it
- Evidence for the budget conversation, early
- Rates calibrated against real back-costed Australian builds
- Excel output you can put in front of a client
> HOW LONG IT TAKES
Most runs finish in about 10 minutes. Large or complex plan sets can take up to 25. You watch it work through four stages — reading plans, calculating labour, pricing items, then generating the spreadsheet. Runs that fail on a system error are automatically refunded as account credit.
> PRICING
$149 AUD + GST
per Build Feasibility Report, + GST.
No subscription, no minimum, no hidden fees. See the refund policy for how failed runs are handled.
All prices in Australian dollars (AUD). Australian customers add 10% GST at checkout; New Zealand customers are billed the list price GST-free.

- How early can I use this in a project?
- As soon as you have plans worth pricing — concept or developed design. The earlier a budget problem surfaces, the cheaper it is to design around.
- Can I test a spec change?
- Yes. Change the finish level or the drawing and run it again; the category breakdown shows you what moved and by how much.
- Is this a quantity surveyor's report?
- No. It is an indicative build cost for validating a design against a budget. A QS report is a different document with a different standard of care, and for a complex or contentious project you want one.
- Can I put it in front of a client?
- The output is an Excel workbook broken down by category. Many practices use it as the evidence base for the budget conversation rather than handing it over verbatim — it is an estimate, not a quote, and clients should be told which is which.
- Do you price consultants?
- No. Engineers, surveyors and assessors are treated as client-supplied and are never priced into the build cost.
> WHAT IT ISN’T
An indicative budget estimate for validating a design against a budget — not a builder’s formal quote, not a quantity surveyor’s report, and not a substitute for a qualified estimator on a complex job. AI gets things wrong sometimes. Always verify before you sign anything.
